Achievements

In order to meet the food needs of the growing population, the Department of Agricultural Extension has been able to produce bumper horticultural crops such as potatoes, vegetables, spices and flowers in the last 3 years through the transfer of advanced technology among the farmers. Under the Horticulture Wing, Horticulture Center, Fruit Garden, Tangail Horticulture has undertaken significant activities for crop expansion. 

In the last three years, 124326 fruit seedlings / cuttings, 29311 flower seedlings / cuttings, 11300 spice seedlings / cuttings, 117935 vegetable seedlings have been produced through this horticulture center.
